MUMBAI, NOV 21: Three persons were injured in a shootout during an attempt to rob a watch dealer's shop at Dadar (East) on a busy Sunday evening.According to eyewitnesses, five unidentified men barged into the Titan watch dealer's shop Kamdar and Kamdar at around 8.45 pm and brandished arms in an attempt to loot cash. When the owner, Kirit Kamdar (46) resisted he was shot at from close range. As crowd gathered and tried to corner the robbers, the armed men fired six rounds indiscriminately and managed to flee towards Dadar Fire Brigade station.
Along with Kamdar, shop attendant Kamala Singh (34) was injured in his stomach and was rushed to KEM Hospital, where he was operated upon.A customer, Sheikh Noor Hasan (21), was also injured in his right hand. His condition is stated to be stable.
