Patwa visit
Union Minister of Rural Development Sundarlal Patwa is arriving in Ahmedabad on Sunday morning to attend a local programme. He will leave for Delhi by the evening flight, an official release said.

Convention
A convention of ayurveda graduates of Gujarat is being organised by the All-Gujarat Ayurved Medical Association at Anand on Sunday. Topics for discussion include growth of ayurveda in Gujarat and the solution to problems of the ayurveds and general practitioners. Resolutions regarding the implementation of "Social Security Scheme" and "Doctor's Protection Scheme" in Gujarat will also be taken up at the convention besides filling up of vacancies in government and problems facing ayurveda practitioners.

Strike
Contract workers at ONGC Ahmedabad have resorted to an indefinite strike from Thursday to press for their demands regarding payment of bonus for the past three years, restoration of illegally deducted wages of four days and implementation at par of wages to workmen like khalasi, peons, sweeper and cleaners.
