Delhi finish 2nd in kabaddi, volleyball
Delhi boys lost to Haryana 19-35 while girls went down fighting to Maharashtra 31-38 after being locked 28-28 at half-time in kabaddi finals of the 45th National School Games which concluded at Moga today. In boys volleyball Haryana beat Delhi for gold 25-22, 20-25, 25-22, 23-25 and 25-11. Ramjas in quarters

Tennis title for Rubal
Rubal came from behind to defeat D. Bharat Raju 3-6, 6-4, 7-5 in the boys singles under-10 final of the Laxman memorial mini-tennis championship. In semis, Rubal had beaten Prabhat Mallik 7-5, 7-6 (7-2), 6-3 while Bharat overcame Anugrah Chandra 6-2, 6-1. In under-8 semi-finals, Venkat Iyer beat PratikBhabhri 6-1, 6-1 while Yuki Bhabhri defeated Ashray Mehra 6-1, 6-1.
The under-12 winners today were Anirudh Minda, Mehul Jain, Rahul Jain, Ankur Kampani, Nagraj, Rubal, Mohit Kapoor, Pulkit Mishra, Karanuday Singh, Puneet Rawat, Vijit Sehgal.
