Arms taken away from Manipur minister's guards

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA  
IMPHAL, NOV 23: About 25 extremists forcibly took away arms from the security guards of Manipur Minister of State for Command Area Development M D Heshammudin, after overpowering them today.

Official sources said the extremists in security uniforms entered the Minister's residence at Kwakta, about 50 kms south of here, at 7 am and overpowered the security guards.The ultras took away at least ten arms, including four self-loading rifles, two sten guns from them.
