Pensioners donate Rs 21,000 for IAF Kargil heroes and kin

CHANDIGARH, Nov 23: The Air Officer Commanding (WC), Air Commodore S.K. Banerjee was visibly moved by a gesture of gratitude towards the Air Force personnel who participated in the Kargil operations, by the DSCPWA, sources said.The DSCPWA, an apex body of the Defence Civilian Pensioners, presented a demand draft of Rs 21,000 to Air Commodore Banerjee at the Air Force Station, here today, to be forwarded to the Air Force Central Welfare Fund.
