NEW DELHI, NOV 24: Agriculture minister Nitish Kumar today said all-out efforts would be made to finalise the long-pending agriculture policy in a month's time.After taking over as the new agriculture minister, Kumar said top priority would be accorded to generate more employment through additional investment in animal husbandry, fishery and poultry sectors.
Kumar asked senior officials of the ministry to initiate steps to boost watershed development programme for which Rs 200 crore has been earmarked.
