Addressing the gathering, president of the Samiti R.K. Nagar said their demands were being unnecessarily delayed and that a decision had been taken in the meeting that if their demands were not met soon, they will go on an indefinite hunger strike from December 28.

The demands of the Samiti include that those who have worked for 240 days should be made permanent, allotment of residential plots, grant of bonus, promotions and supply of oil and soap.
