CHANDIGARH, Nov 24: A central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) All-India Motor Biking Expedition is being flagged off from Jammu tomorrow, as part of Diamond Jubilee celebrations of the para-military force. This year will mark the 60th Raising Day of the force.According to a statement by D.L. Gola, the Deputy Commandant of the 20nd Battalion of the CRPF, the 20-member expedition team will reach Chandigarh on Friday evening and will be re-flagged off early the following morning by the CRPF Additional Director General of Police, North-West Zone, J.P. Verma.
According to Gola, the motorcycle expedition is being organised to "spread the message of unity and integrity of the nation''. The expedition will cover approximately 8,000 kms.
