Rajiv case -- Another mercy petition moved

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
New Delhi, Nov 24: Within days of Congress president Sonia Gandhi seeking mercy for Nalini, one of the four convicts involved in her husband Rajiv Gandhi's murder, senior advocate B L Wadhera today sought clemency for three others also by President K R Narayanan.

``I am seeking pardon for Nalini and three other accused in the Rajiv assassination case purely on constitutional grounds," Wadhera, who has already filed a mercy petition with the President, told reporters here.
