Delhi colts draw with Punjab

NEW DELHI, November 24: Delhi drew their North Zone Merchant Trophy (u-16) league match against Punjab at Patiala, after conceding first innings lead. After two matches, Delhi have collected 8 points to Punjab's 13 from the same number of encounters. Delhi take on J-K at Kotla from tomorrow.
Brief scores: Delhi: 203 (Sushil Kumar 52, Deepak Sharma 41, Isan Malhotra 3 for 50, Gautam 3 for 22) and 158 for 7 (Suresh Kumar 39, Kunal Sethi 25, Kunal Bhardwaj 22, Rajat Jaiswal 22).
Punjab: 239 (Manjit Singh 51, Amit Behl 50, Vishwa Bhalla 50, Sikar Dhawan 3 for 39, Nitin Agarwal 3 for 55, Sahil Khullar 2 for 16).India win Yoga World Cup
A five-member Indian yoga team returned home from (Montvedio) Uruguay with the Olympic Yoga World Cup. The Indian team also participated in Inter-Continetal Cup at Argentina. Upendra Arya of Hansraj College won the gold after getting the highest points to enable India win the Olympic World Cup. Bal Mukund Singh won gold in Inter-Continental Cup. Other gold medallists include Delhi's Shalini Malhotra (artistic yoga), Bhopal's Shubra Bose (contortion yoga). Team manager and coach Dr Babu lal Dyma qualified as international judge in the judges clinic. Meanwhile, Indian will host the ninth Olympic Yoga World Cup in December 2000. Bade Mian football
The eighth Bade Mian football tournament for a nine side for one day will be organised from December 5 at H-2, near Kaushal Cinema, football ground, Jahangir Puri.
