CISF will be sponsoring top rifle shooter Shimon Sharif in the forthcoming Kumar Surender Singh Memorial Shooting Championship to be held at Delhi from November 28 to December 1 and in the 43rd National Shooting Championship at Phillaur from December 5 to 14.Hockey selection trials
Selection trials of Hockey (under-17 and 19, boys and girls) for National Games will be held on November 26 at 2 pm. For this purpose boys should report at Union Academy School and girls at Chhattarsal Stadium, Model Town. Audit enter carrom final
Audit beat Ministry of Defense 3-0 to enter the men's team final of Inter-Ministry Carrom Championship. Babu bt Rakesh 25-4, 25-12, Jaipal bt MS Rawat 25-5, 25-17, Mohd Nasir bt Sahay 25-6, 25-17. Urban Development also made it to the final beating Central Water Commission 2-1. AK Rajput bt Hoshiar Singh 25-5, 25-5; Dewan Chand bt Raj Vilochan 25-16, 25-20; KV Singh lost to V Suresh 1-25, 25-0, 25-7. In football, Surender Singh Bisht's hat-trick enabled DGFT beat Petroleum 5-0. Balwant and KK Kobi scored other goals. Home Affairs beat UPSC 4-3. Mahavir, William, S Banerjee and Kuldeep scored for Home Affairs while Dinesh Sharma, Rajender, Vinod reduced margin for UPSC.
New Green Field in semi-finals
New Green Field School (Saket) beat Apeejay School (SS) 4-24 to enter the semi-finals of the Daulat Ram Memorial basketball tournament. In other quarter-final matches, Fr Agnel School beat Blue Bells 35-33, JD Tytler beat Mother's International 43-34 and Lt St Mary's beat Air Force Bal Bharti 52-50.
Jupiter, MTNL in quarter-finals
Jupiter Club beat Dhaka Sports 25-8, 25-12, MTNL beat Dayal Singh College 25-11, 25-20 and Anubhav Club beat Delhi Police 25-21, 17-21, 15-10 to enter the men's quarter-finals of the Delhi State Volleyball Championship. In the women's section, JDHSD beat Ashok Vihar Club 25-10, 26-24 and Gargi Club beat New Delhi Club 25-13, 25-11.
