CHANDIGARH, Nov 25: City mayor Kewal Krishan Adiwal has raised the issue of direct grant to the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh at the All-India Conference of Mayors, held at Delhi.
Adiwal, urged the Chandigarh Administration to give 100 per cent taxes collected by the Administration to the MC. At present, the MC is getting only 50 per cent of the share in taxes collected.
