13-yr-old puts up sketching exhibition

EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE
CHANDIGARH, Nov 25: Saurabh Saini cannot hear or talk but he is in the process of developing his own creative form of expression. This 13-year-old physically challanged has started drawing sketches of prominent freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi and Bal Gangadhar Tilak. About a dozen pieces by Saurabh are currently on display at Art Folio, Sector 9.

Considering that he is yet to start with his training, one wouldn't mind strict decipline rather than spontaenity. The young artist plunges in with a set plan and emerges with something which certainly falls under the ambit of art. Like the sketch of Mahatma Gandhi, something that you see on a Rs 100 note. In fact all his drawings have been copied from various sources.

Saurabh is sure that next time he would come out with something more imaginative.
