CHANDIGARH, NOV 28: Principal Hari Ram Memorial Music Contest and Principal Milkhi Ram Mahajan Memorial Hasya Kavita Recitation Contest were organised at DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 8, as part of the ongoing inter-state inter-school cultural competitions. The music contest was divided into Bhajan, Orchestra and Group song categories. Vikas from Major R.N. Kapoor DAV Public School, Ambala, received the first prize for bhajan and orchestra.The first prize for group song was shared by Poonam and her group from Army Public School, Chandimandir, and Ruchi and group from Kundan Vidya Mandir, Ludhiana.
The Hasya kavita recitation contest trophy went to Dixit and Deepika from Major R.N. Kapoor DAV Public School, Ambala. The first prize for the contest went to Tarundeep from DAV Public school, Ludhiana.
A special prize was awarded to Vaneeta of Stepping Stone Senior Secondary School, Sector 38, for her dance performance.
