Left leads walk-out over IRA Bill
The Left parties in both the Houses of Parliament staged a walk-out on Monday to register their protest against the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Bill (IRDA), describing it as anti-national. The SP, the RJD and the AIADMK also walked out along with them in both the Houses.Cong demand on chargesheet rejected
Citing attorney general's opinion, the Union government on Monday rejected the Congress demand for deletion of Rajiv Gandhi's name from the Bofors chargesheet even as the main Opposition party made it clear that there was no link between its support to economic reforms measures in Parliament and the government decision.
