CHANDIGARH, NOV 29: The written examination for the appointment of constables will be conducted on January 16 at various centres for which the qualifying candidates will be issued call letters shortly.According to the police spokesman the list of the candidates who have qualified the physical measurement tests -- held at Sector 26 Police Lines from November 24 to 29 -- has been displayed at the Reception, Ground Floor, Sector 9 Police Headquarter, Gate No. 1 of Sector 26 Police Lines, notice board of all police stations as well as office of the duty officer at all police police stations.
Those candidates who do not receive call letters by January 10, 2000, may contact the Recruitment branch of the Sector 9 Police Headquarters. The candidates must bring identification documents at the time of examination, the spokesman added. Admit cards sent
The admit cards to all the eligible candidates, who are going to take the examination for first year Junior Residency (House Job) in Oral Health Sciences on December 7, MD/MS course on December 11, and for DM/M.Ch. courses on December 15, have already been despatched. According to D.R.Yadava, the candidates who do not recieve the admit cards by December 3 can contact theTraining Branch, PGI.
