Two arrested in separate cases
The local police have arrested two persons in different cases. Rajpati Devi of Colony 5 was arrested while selling liquor outside her house and 12 bottles of whisky recovered from her. Satyawan, a Sector 35-D resident, was caught selling cinema tickets in black at the Piccadily Cinema. Cases have been registered and investigations are on.One held for drinking in public
The police have arrested Manoj Pant of Lucknow for consuming liquor at a public place in Sector 17. A case has been registered under the Excise Act at the Sector 17 Police Station.
Motorcycle stolen
Ajay Kumar of Sector 20 has reported that his Hero Honda Motorcycle (CH-01-R-4308) was stolen from his residence on the intervening night of November 27 and 28. A case has been registered at Sector 19 Police Station and investigations are on.
Lock broken
A Mauli Jagran Colony resident Gurdev Singh reported that the lock of his house was broken on the intervening night of November 27 and 28, while he was away. But nothing has been was stolen. A case has been registered at the Manimajra Police Station.
