CPM leader's house bombed; 4 killed, 3 hurt
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

Calcutta, Dec 6: Four persons were killed and three others critically injured in a powerful bomb blast inside a CPI(M) leader's house at Ramnagar village in West Bengal's Midnapore district early today.

Police said the incident occurred when the inmates of the house were fast asleep. The deceased were identified as female members in the house of Lalmohan Singh, local CPI(M) leader. The injured were rushed to hospital. The cause of the blast was not yet known.

Police said they were investigating if today's blast had any connection with yesterday's explosion that rocked CPI(M)'s zonal committee office at Belda.
