MUMBAI, DEC 6: Yogesh Kandalkar scored a half-century and grabbed five wickets to help Swami Vivekanand International win by a handsome margin over Shardashram, Marathi in the pre-quarter-finals of the MSSA-Colgate Inter Schools Harris Shield Cricket Tournament today.

There were other decent all-round performance from a couple of boys. Prateek Kar scored 41 and took four for 32 in Laxmibai English's win over Bombay Scottish while Ashish Gupta scored 49 and took three wickets for Rizvi Springfield.

Brief Scores: IES Raja Shivaji, Dadar 374 (Cinmay M 76, Aditya Kale 77, Roshan Salvi 97; Sanket Bhaye 5-68) bt Balmohan Vidyamandir 233 Nikhil Chavan 48; Yogesh Shinde 3-43).

St. Xavier's Boys Academy 149 (Markesh Bhat 4-42) lost to IES VN Sule Guruji 150-2 (Vishal Tiwrekar 81 not out).

Rizvi Springfield, Bandra 201 (Santosh Agrahari 58, Ashish Gupta 49; Zaffar Alam 4-18) bt Anjuman Islam 81 (Ashish Gupta 3-33, Rakesh Kanojia 3-1).

St. Mary's Mazgaon 105 & 93 (Ameya Waigankar 3-36, Nishit Dhulap 4-33) lostto IES English, Bandra 142 (Gaurang Jhunjhunwala 4-23, Ankit Zaveri 3-28) & 60-4 (Gaurang Jhunjhunwala 3-21) by six wickets.
