JCT shocker for Mohun Bagan

LUDHIANA, DEC 13: Calcutta giants Mohun Bagan's dismal run continued when they were stunned 2-1 by JCT, Phagwara, in a National Football League match here on Monday. Bagan began well when Kasif Jamal capitalised on a faulty clearance by JCT defender Sukhdev Singh in the 34th minute. But JCT came back strongly and equalised two minutes before half-time when Hardip Sangha's powerful volley from outside the box found the net.

Hardworking midfielder Hardeep Saini clinched the issue for the millmen three minutes before the long whistle.
