I watched with great interest the TV drama created by Mr. Aroon Shourie and other BJP lumineries during the elections about the 'annextation' of the IG Centre for A&C by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi.

Mr. Shourie appeared much taken-aback when instead of pouncing on the details of the scandal, the press-persons present pounced on him instead, repeatedly grilling him about BJP's motives in raising this question during the election time.

Especially, as they had just sat on this information for the past several months. He repeatedly tried to convince everyone present that BJP had no ulterior motives and would follow the matter to a logical conclusion immediately. Predictably, the matter has been forgotten and will no doubt be relegated to the back-burner along with other scams like Bofors, fodder, Sukh Ram, HDW and all others, only to be resurrected the next time there is an election or the Congress needs some friendly arm-twisting on some issue.
