Mansoor shines in Karnataka triumph

KAKINADA, DECEMBER 28: Karnataka registered a 47-run victory over Andhra in the Ranji Trophy cricket tie which concluded at the District Sports Authority grounds on Tuesday.

Andhra, who were at 41 for three wickets overnight, chasing 191 for a win, were bundled out for 144 in 39.1 overs. Mansoor Ali Khan, who added three wickets today, finished with six for 47.
Brief scores: Karnataka 248 and 273 beat Andhra 331 and 144 (Shahabuddin not out 45; Mansoor Ali Khan 6-47, Sunil Joshi 2-26)

Hyderabad struggle
CHENNAI:
Hyderabad were 94 for four replying to Tamil Nadu's 404 when fading light halted second day's play.

Pravanjan Mallick slammed his second consecutive ton (111 not out) as Orissa drew their East Zone match against Bengal.
