Archies profits up 75 pc in Q3

NEW DELHI, JANAURY 12: Archies Greetings and Gifts Ltd today announced a 75 per cent growth in profit with a net profit of Rs 5.71 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal. Archies recorded a turnover of Rs 55.86 crore for the first nine months of 1999-2000 as against Rs 45.07 crore during the corresponding period of the previous year. The company has also registered 26 per cent growth in sales with sales turnover touching Rs 25.25 crore during the third quarter of the current financial year, says a company release.
