Oh God! The beauty had just taken her bath and she looked fantabulous in the track pants and the T-shirt that she wore. Amisha Patel is miles away from the anorexic look that women in showbiz flaunt. As for the interview, it sounded more like a chilled-out conversation between the two of us...

Work Begins: She got modelling offers every time she came to India during her vacations, inspite of the fact that she did not even have a portfolio. So she did a couple of ads like Bajaj Sevashram, Jai Lime, Lux, Cadbury, Fair and Lovely and so on.

On coming back to India, she worked briefly in her (rich) father's office and then for some finance companies, but she really did not enjoy working there.

Kahani Mein Twist: Tab aaya when she told her parents that she wanted to dance and sing around the trees like Hema Malini, Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit. Maa-baap bhadak gaye and asked her to shut up. But the girl was clever.

She started slowly by getting into theater and managed to do anUrdu play with Tanveer Khan, for which she had to learn Urdu. Seeing her dedication for acting, her parents decided to give her the green signal. (Bahut chaalu cheez hai re).

Roshani Chamki: Rakesh Roshan is her father's old classmate and both are good friends. Since he had always wanted to launch his son Hrithik with Amisha, it finally happened with Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. And the rest is history.

Aage Ki Baat: She is doing some more movies like Gadar with papaji Sunny Deol and Armaan (yet again with Hrithik). Also on the cards, is a southern trip with Bhai (Chiranjeev) ka chhota bhai Pawan Kalyanam.
