MUMBAI, JAN 23: Congratulations (Paul Eddery up) thundered at the fag end and left all the rivals beyond her shadow and cantered away with the UB Group sponsored Kingfisher Indian Oaks (Gr I) the third classic of the current season and the feature of the 18th day of Mumbai Meeting at Mahalakshmi on Sunday.

Averoff was every one's priority. She raised hopes at the bend but again like the first classic, disappointed and finished a poor eighth in the field of sixteen. On the other hand, lesser fancied Austria and Ray of Light performed impressively to claim the second and third berth respectively.Trainer H J Antia was the lone professional to score a double in the card of nine races in which only three first favourites stood by their followers.
