NEW DELHI: National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has revised the prices of six bulk drugs which form the basic inputs to make medicines, the government said in a statement on Wednesday. The statement said the drugs include Betamethasone Alcohol, Betamethasone Valerate, Betamethasone Phosphate, Lynestranol, Ephedrine HCL and Pseudo Ephedrine HCL.

"The revised notified prices shall become effective within 15 days from the date of notification in the Official Gazette," the statement said. Among the companies affected by the price changes are Glaxo India Ltd, which produces different varieties of Betamethasone, and Krebs Biochem.
