JOHANNESBURG, FEB 17: South Africa's spirited performance in a four-nation men's hockey tournament in Cairo has mounted pressure on the National Olympic Committee of South Africa (NOCSA) to send the team to the Sydney Olympics.

Team manager Craig Jackson wants NOCSA to reconsider its decision not to send the men's hockey team to Sydney after South Africa beat an Indian under-21 team 2-1 and hosts Egypt 3-1 in the Akhbar-al-Yom International tournament.
