IOC accusation
SYDNEY, FEB 17: A top International Olympic Committee official accused Sydney organisers of undermining their own corporate sponsors and misleading the public by describing the marketing programmes for the 2000 Games as a failure. ``Is there anything about the word `success' you don't understand?'' IOC vice president Dick Pound said in an unusually blunt public criticism of an Olympic Organising Committee. Pound blasted Sydney organisers for their ``dysfunctional relationship'' with local sponsors and described the committee's frequently raised revenue targets as ``nuts''.
