MARCH 1: Jockey C Rajendra excelled on Radiant and managed to frustrate the spirited efforts of Aries Rocket and claimed The Indian Express Trophy, 1400m, the star attraction of the 27th day of Mumbai meeting held at Mahalakshmi on Wednesday.

Mrs Ananya Goenka, vice-chairperson The Indian Express Group of Newspapers (Bombay) Ltd presented The Indian Express Trophy to Shapoor P Mistry, representing The Manjri Stud Farm Ltd, the owner of the winner and also congratulated trainer Magansingh P Jodha and jockey C Rajendra. She was accompanied by Vivek Jain RWITC committee member and Mrs N Sheena Peters, member of The Board of Appeal, RWITC.
