Aishwarya Rai on the one film that always makes her cry --

"I always have a very emotional response to movies, and there are so many films that have brought about a passionate response from me. But the one that made me bawl all night after I saw it was The Awakenings. It was both disturbing and touching at the same time... There was something so positive about it, and yet it was so harshly real -- the realisation of what life actually is. I couldn't help being depressed for a long time. My mind just went over the film all night. I haven't seen the movie again, but perhaps I should. That might help me guage what exactly it was that affected me so seriously. I want to see how I react to it the second time round...

Since then there have been many more movies that have made me cry, but this one was really a long time ago, and it's still deeply embedded in my memory."
