MUMBAI, APRIL 28: Senior Citizens' Settlement Foundation is engaged in providing Senior Citizens homes in healthy and peaceful enviornment and the first phase they have acquired lands at Talegaon, Sringeri and Bangalore (near Whitefield).

For its project at Sringeri, the foundation stone of which was laid on 20th March, 2000 by Sankaracharya of Sringeri, Bank of Baroda is disbursing a sum of Rs 4.50 lakh to meet the cost of a medical clinic Balchandra Nayak, General Manager of Bank of Baroda handed over a cheque of Rs 4.50 lakh to M S Pai, chairman and N Hariharan, executive director of the foundation on 26th April, 2000.
