No evidence of PWG nexus with ISI -- Minister
PRESS TRUST OF INDIA

HYDERABAD, APRIL 30: There are always ``apprehensions'' of the Naxal outfit People's War Group's having a nexus with Pakistan intelligence agency, ISI though there is no concrete evidence in this regard, Union Minister of State for Home Ch Vidyasagar Rao said here today.

Attributing lack of employment and education as main reasons for youths joining terrorist outfits, the Minister told reporters that ISI is attempting to lure the youth for carrying out its nefarious activities by inciting communal elements, which got exposed with the recent arrests made in Hyderabad and elsewhere.

He said Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in the country is being demoralised by the alert intelligence agencies.

He said the Centre is extending all help to eliminatenaxal activities in the Naxal-infested states.

Union Home Minister L K Advani has recently convened a joint meeting of Chief Ministers of the affected states and discussed the matter in length for tackling the violence, he added.
