Sena not to join BJP for civic polls

BARODA, MAY 2: Senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Satish Pradhan has said his party would not have any understanding with BJP for the civic polls in Gujarat due in June.

"BJP's ideology does not match with that of Shiv Sena", Pradhan said in a statement after the inauguration of local office of the party here yesterday. Pradhan also ruled out any tie-up with Congress.

He alleged that the ruling BJP in Gujarat has been treating Sena members as "outcasts".
