Kapur wins Malaysian Open

Calcutta, May 16: India's Shiv Kapur won the Pan West Malaysian Amateur Open Golf Championship with a four-round total of 284 at the Staffield Country Resort Course in Kuala Lumpur.

The Indian team comprising Shiv Kapur and Ashok Kumar had also won the two-day Team event.

The scores of the other Indian players were Ashok Kumar 295 (72-74-77-72), Lakshman Singh 303 (74-75-79-75), Aman Bahl 307 (77-76-75-79), Jasjit Singh 308 (76-76-80-76), Jaideep Patwardhan 308 (76-76-74-82) and Saurav Bahuguna 311 (79-74-78-80).
