Sonia `reward' to Tiwari men ruffles feathers

NEW DELHI, JUNE 7: The Congress said on Tuesday it would constitute acommittee shortly to review its economic policies which have triggered adebate within the party.

The announcement by Pranab Mukherjee's has put an end to speculation on theissue. Party spokesman Ajit Jogi had last week dismissed reports about theparty appointing any such panel.

Mukherjee was evasive on who would be the members. ``When the committee isconstituted, you will know,'' he said. Party sources said Mukherjee himselfwas likely to head the committee in the absence of Manmohan Singh, who hasdecided to keep off in the initial deliberations.
