Reason to smile


He's hoping his recent success brings him good work. Chandrachur Singh is keeping his fingers crossed, observes Rajeev Masand

During his struggling years, Chandrachur says he didn't receive much encouragement from others. "Bobby Deol is one guy who has always been a friend," the actor mentions. "He has never given a thought to the competition factor, and has always been very supportive and kind," he adds. Chandrachur also reveals that he doesn't have too many friends in the industry. "My closest friends are my family," he says. "Out of choice, I have chosen not to socialise with the film fraternity," he says. Not that he has a problem with them. "No, nothing of that sort. It's just that I don't think I have similar priorities..."
