MUMBAI: Cricketnext.Com became the first dotcome in the World to feature on an official stamp of a country when Bangladesh government recently issued a commemorative stamp and first day cover featuring cricketnext.Com ICC Cricketweek 2000.

Cricketnext.Com had sponsored the World XI vs Asia XI match held at Banga Bandhu Stadium, Dhaka on April 8 last. It was for the first time in the history that an online cricket site had acquired the rights to have a cup named on its virtual identity.

Senior ATP official inspects KSLTA courts

BANGALORE: A senior official of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour inspected the courts at the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA), which is likely to host the ATP World Doubles event in December, here on Tuesday.

``I am impressed with the venue especially the weather, and it will be much more beautiful in December," said Brad Drewett, Executive Vice-president, Director ATP Tours. Drewett told reporters it was planned to give a face-lift to the stadium and bring it to International standards.
