India registers successive win
Mumbai, July 2: India registered their third successive win in as many matches in the inaugural Asia Cricket Council under-15 tournament at Kuala Lumpur on Sunday when they whipped hosts Malaysia by ten wickets. India, who had thrashed Thailand and Bangladesh in their opening two round robin ties, bundled out the hosts for 76 in 33 overs and then cruised to a resounding win in only 8.5 overs to keep firmly on course for a spot in the July 9 summit clash, according to a message received here from the team management. Brief scores: Malaysia 76 all out in 33 overs (M Talukdar 18-2, Raju 9-2, Irfan Pathan 11-2) lost to India 78 for no loss in 8.5 overs (A Rayudu not out 47, Swapnoj Thakur not out 27).
