MUMBAI, JULY 17: OTIS Elevator Company (India) Limited has turned in an impressive performance for the 6-month period ended June 2000. The gross profit increased 33 % to Rs 21.69 crore compared to Rs 16.71 crore recorded in the same period last year. The profit before tax rose 72 % to Rs 12.43 crore (Rs 7.20 crore) and profit after tax went up by 28 % to Rs 8.18 crore (Rs 6.35 crore). During this period, its net sales touched Rs 129.75 crore compared to Rs 121.82 crore.
