Breakthrough performance...

"I'm so grateful to Ramgopal Varma for trusting me with a part that I hope is going to change my life," says the model-turned-actress. "It took me long to get here, but believe me, there's going to be no turning back now," she promises. Kashmira has been roped in for yet another sizzling dance number for the forthcoming Manoj Bajpai-Tabu film, Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar, but it's those performance-based roles that she can't wait to bite into. "I know I'm capable of doing good work. Now I just have to prove it to the others," she says. In between her film assignments, Kashmira reveals she's also dabbling in some theatre acting. "It gives me such a thrill to be performing before a live audience," she gushes.

Meanwhile, realising that her bread comes from those appearances on the silver screen, Kashmira slaps on the make-up once again, this time to play Salman Khan's sister in forthcoming feature. "I'm just having a ball," she says as she heads for the sets. And she hopes, her fingers crossed all tightly, that the audience is as excited about watching her on screen!
