ISI men held in Jaipur with map of Matoshree

MUMBAI, SEPT 23: The security-ring around the residence of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has been put on high alert after a map of Thackeray's iMatoshree residence was recovered from two ISI agents, who were recently arrested in Jaipur.

Armed with the Matoshree map, the two ISI men were on their way to Mumbai to blow up the Sena chief's residence when they were arrested in Jaipur.

Speaking to The Indian Express on the security arrangements, deputy commissioner of police Pradip Sawant informed that though no manpower had been increased, they have been reorganised. ``We have got some information about this and we have taken all the necessary precautions for the same.''

The Mumbai police is now co-ordinating with the Jaipur police to get the updated information, sources in the police force informed this newspaper.

It has been reported that Mumbai police commissioner M N Singh is personally looking into the security arrangements of the Sena chief's residence.
