Full faith in Singh, says Zee
EXPRESS NEWS SERVICE

MUMBAI, SEPT 23: Zee Telefilms Limited has said that the report in The Indian Express (Kaun Banega Scapegoat at Zee: R K Singh?) on a reshuffle in the top brass was "absolutely baseless".

A spokesperson of Zee Network said that the company had embarked on many new initiatives to "respond to market opportunities" and as part of the "broad-basing of the organisation" the operational responsibilities were assigned to four CEOs.

Singh, the statement said, would continue to be Chief Executive Officer of ZTL, handling Entertainment.

Terming the report unfounded, the spokesperson said: "As a result of the opportunities that the emerging convergence environment provides, the company has got into various businesses that require individual focus.

"Singh, CEO of ZTL was assigned the responsibilities of handling entertainment...The company has full faith in all its CEOs, including Singh."
