Nairobi: New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming was ecstatic after his country's first major tournament win while Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly tried to put up a brave face after a tantalisingly close ICC Knock-out Cup final here.

Fleming said the team's first major final turned out to be an absolute pressure game, which the Kiwis won by four wickets and just two balls to spare.

``It wasn't until the last over we felt that we won,'' Fleming said after collecting the winner's cheque of $ 250,000. The Kiwi skipper echoed man-of-the-match Chris Cairns' feelings about the ambience of the venue in this African safari country.

``Chris is right. It is a fantastic arena and it was exciting,'' he added.Praising his bowlers for preventing the Indians from amassing a bigger total, Fleming said: ``Indians play spin well and this is a small ground, but our bowlers did a good job.''

Cairns, who played spectacularly despite a knee injury, said he needed continuous medication to be there till the end.
