Tyson plans to call it quits

AUBURN HILLS (MICHIGAN) OCTOBER 20: Former World heavyweight champion Mike Tyson plans to quit boxing after his fight against Andrew Golota on Saturday. In an interview with US television network ESPN, Tyson said: ``this is definitely my last fight...I'm finished after this.''

Tyson, 34, has said after several fights that he was considering retirement. Earlier this week he made a passing reference to retiring after the Golota fight. Some boxing observers believe, however, that the American heavyweight might still change his mind if he gets past Golota.

But he told reporters after a work out in Detroit that the 10-round fight might be his last.

``I might just say: `that's it' and go home and take care of my family,'' he was quoted as saying on the BBC's website. ``I want to be happy for the first time in my life and live life the way I want to.`'I have to get away from you all. I don't need this. I can be enjoying my kids.''
