US Congressional Report...

Dear Sir,

US Congressional report is biased and doesn't reflect temporal judgment. Though unofficial clarifications have been issued that the timing of the release of the report hasn't got anything to do with elections or its outcome or to embarrass the present Government, they can hardly be believed.

When thousands of sikhs were murdered in cold blood after Indira Gandhi's murder in 1984 and when thousands of muslims and hindus were killed in bloody riots after 1992 Babri Masjid demolition and when serial bombs were set off in Coimbatore and Bombay, and when hundreds of tribals attacked Jain temples recently, US did not raise its accusing finger. Now, that Christian missionaries are being killed, it has found its voice of tolerance and secularism. Well, our newspapers, having long forgotten the ethos of unbiased reporting, have jumped at that voice, not in protest, as one would expect, but in total obedience. I have nothing to do, but moan the state of our press.
