Mastek issues profit warning as ICE melts
Mastek has become the first Indian infotech co to issue profit warnings. In a communication to the BSE, the co has said that the Group revenues of Mastek are expected to be 5% to 7% lower than that in the previous quarter for the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2000.




Infosys dips to new low
Software giant, Infosys continued to fall on the bourses as it touched its yearly low on Tuesday even as equities suffered a sharp setback pulling the BSE Sensex down by 79 points.




DoT may allow licence resale
Even as the DoT has toughened its stand on exempting the existing private basic service operators from paying licence fees for the next four years, it is giving in to the market reality of mergers and acquisitions by supporting the resale of basic services licences.
