Case against ex-Haryana Minister for abetting suicide
ROHTAK, DEC 25: A criminal case has been registered against former Haryana Minister and Haryana vikas party leader jagbir Singh malik for allegedly abetting the suicide of a khadi board employee, police today said. The civil lines police has registered a case against Mr Malik andfour others on the direction of a local court on a complaint filed by the widow of raghubir Singh dalal, an employee of the state khadi board, who committed suicide in July 1997 when the hvp leader was the chairman of the board. Dalal's widow prem lata, in her complaint filed in the courtof the Chief judicial magistrate, said Mr Malik and some officials of the khadi board harrassed her husband to such an extent that he committed suicide by consuming poison. The other accused include jagjit Singh, former member secretaryof khadi board, satbir Singh, prakash Goel and jagbir Singh poral. No one has been arrested so far.
