Britney would like duet with Michael, Janet Jackson
STOCKHOLM, FEB 15: Pop star Britney Spears dreams about singing a duet with her idol Madonna but could also consider performing together with Michael Jackson or his sister Janet, she said in a Swedish tabloid report on Thursday. ``There never were any clear plans, only lots of talk. But I'd really love to do it, if it's possible to find time in both our calendars,'' Spears (19) told Aftonbladet, referring to music industry rumours that she and Madonna would sing together. Spears is currently in Sweden recording a new album. Asked who would be her dream duet partner, she replied: ``Madonna, no doubt. But perhaps also Michael or Janet Jackson.'' Spears said she was looking forward to her movie debut. She has accepted a leading role as a high school student in a coming-of-age story to be co-produced by her music label, Jive Records. The film is scheduled to start shooting in March. ``I am very excited about facing a new challenge. I have no idea what to expect and that's making me excited,'' she said. ``I am very interested in acting and so I'm really going to enjoy the film project. But music will always be my great love,'' she said. Spears, whose 1999 debut album ...Baby one more time has sold more than 25 million copies and made her a multi-millionaire, said she did not expect to start a career as a producer.
