Saurav is caught on the wrong foot, praying with Nagma in AP
Express News Service

Srikalahasti, February 17: What was cricket captain Saurav Ganguly doing with south Indian star Nagma in a temple in Chitoor in Andhra Pradesh on Friday? Perhaps, praying for a win over Australia in the series against them. Ganguly and Nagma arrived at the temple from Chennai by car on Friday morning to perform the Sarpadosha puja.

The two later took the blessings of the temple priest. The former chairperson of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, P.R. Mohan, presented pictures of the presiding deities -- Lord Shiva and his consort Gnana Prasunamba -- to the cricketer.

News that Saurav and Nagma were at the temple spread around in no time, and scores thronged the place to have a glimpse of them. Saurav was mobbed by his fans, and he had to make a quick getaway.

The cricketer married his childhood friend Dona a few years ago.
