Chuchill favourites against Tollygunge
Press trust of india

Kolkata, March 4 : Fresh from two back-to-back victories, Churchill Brothers appear favourites as they take on local outfit Tollygunge Agragami in a fifth National Football League exchange here tomorrow.

The match at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium, however, promises to be interesting as Tollygunge would endeavour to rip the advantage of home condition and with four Africans in their ranks, have the ability to dwarf any opponent on their day.

The Goan outfit, who had a lacklustre start to their campaign in the high-profile tournament, got past title holders Mohun Bagan 2-0 before pipping ITI, Bangalore, 2-1 to move up to the fifth position on the chart with 14 points from 10 outings.

Churchill’s Uzbek coach Gregory would, however, be missing his reliable player Noel Wilson who is nursing an injury.

Mir Farooq Hyder would also have to sit out following a double booking. Tollygunge, who are lying way behind with eight points from 10 matches, would have to take the field without their stopper Partha Sarathi Dey.
